Unlike the previous 1992 Tom and Jerry movie that talks and sings, this new version is more silent and even that scene where Tom sings for Toodles Galore since Solid Serenade, Texas Tom and he sings, Don't You Know by Ray Charles.
Overall, it's very funniest and honestly, I love Tom and Jerry since I was childhood. Tom and Jerry are one of my favorite cartoons ever.

I have not laughed this much in a long time! I admit that I was concerned as I feel that CGI/Live action hybrids typically fail in a lot of ways. But I am happy to say that this is not the case with this film. Despite using CGI, the animation style is much closer to the original designs than we typically see.
They also kept a good focus on Tom and Jerry, while also staying true to their lack of friendship. The human focus was not placed as more important than theirs but really added to their plot. It was a good movie for both families and long-time fans of Tom & Jerry.
I'm not a big fan of Tom & Jerry, having outgrown such basic beat 'em up humor as a very small child, however, this film was entertaining and I was impressed that in this age of PC-ing the *uck out of everything that they just did their best to outright murder each other. Jerry even got a copy machine booty scan in there.
